After barely two weeks my lovely Akina arrived today. I managed to catch the Fedex truck as I was out running. I literally was sprinting to make sure I caught the truck before it left my house, it was like the ending of some lame love story.

And who knew that Fedex delivered at 7:00 AM on Saturdays? Anyway, here she is!

I placed the order December 30 and it was delivered January 14 after barely two weeks. Jeff at Booty Call Dolls is the man. He was incredible to work with, friendly, patient, and always quick to reply to PM's or emails. I would definitely purchase from him again.

Now here is my one day of doll ownership review: unboxing went well, everything was in order. I took my sweet time unwrapping all the tape and packaging, which I must say they did a phenomenal job of. Akina was very secure and well protected. Her factory scent was a non-issue, it's there but as many have said it's kind of pleasant. Getting her out of the box was a chore, and wowee nothing prepares you for the weight of a doll! I'm guessing she's somewhere in the 65-75 lb range, I'll be sure to confirm this later. Overall she's in very good shape. The TPE feels and looks amazing. And I can lose myself just looking into her eyes. Not to mention kissing her cute little mouth. But she had a few minor issues coming out of the box: bent eyelashes, crease on one of her elbows, and one foot seems loose. Other than that, Akina is in great shape. Her skin is free of blemishes, her joints all work very well, and she is a joy just to be around. I can't comment on the standing feet yet as I only attempted using them briefly before laying her back down. Her wig on the other hand, not my favorite. Talk about a tangled mess of something. But clearly there is a learning curve and this was my first day ever dealing with a wig.

Cleanup went smoothly. I wrapped up her metal pieces and moved her to the bathtub. She received two successive sponge baths with soft soap, warm water, and white microfiber towels. Soap, rinse, pat dry, repeat. Then the really fun part, oil bath.

I gave her a good rub down with regular plain old Johnson's baby oil, and she soaked it up within 30 minutes or so. Still have to powder her tonight so more to look forward to. Here's some more photos from the day. I'm so happy she's here!

Sleeping next to and then waking up with Akina there was...magical. Her presence was amazingly comforting. I've slept with a dakimakura for a couple of years and I don't know how to compare it. While the dakimakura is light, soft, and no risk of damage, Akina is lifelike, sexy, and adds so much more depth and dimension. The setup is a little tricky, making sure her feet are protected and her hands are placed in a safe position. There is no risk of her falling off the bed due to her weight. I did notice her factory scent was still a bit strong though, at least enough to prevent me falling asleep with my face resting near her skin. So I had to roll over for that. The TPE is very cold though. I noticed that wherever I touched her was a cold shock, but would eventually warm up (to use a terrible analogy much like sitting on a toilet seat). Being under the blankets also helped and I think I will look into getting her some warm pajamas. Simple things such as resting my leg against hers, draping my arm over her belly, or resting my head on her shoulder were all delightful. Overall, a great experience!

@Sector_1 yes, my journey went surprisingly smooth. And my skin is considered natural or fair in color.

I have been through a lot, but once I get settled in I will look into getting my own doll account, that will be fun! Mystere says we have lots to do today: some more bathing (sure like I am not clean enough), trying on some clothes

, and getting me weighed. And I think I will sign him up for hair brushing school.

@Seattle Slew Nice video there, very close to my own experience with a few less broken noses and boats.

The loose ankle hasn't been an issue yet. Akina is an avid runner just like me and she's had her share of twisted ankles. No biggie. Thanks for the congrats, she's been an absolute joy to have around.

with Akina is fucking awesome. Sorry for being crass, but it really is. We've only tried missionary so far but it's been everything I hoped for. Her built-in vagina has a wonderful texture, and the feel, size, and depth are all just right for us average men. All you porn stars reading this will need a custom doll.

She seems to have a good amount of elasticity so a variety of angles is possbile. Her body temperature was fine, I warmed her insides up a bit with my fingers and some Vasaline, though there was a little cold shock when I layed on her. Her size and weight are just about right for me (I'm 180 cm), though since I'm doing all the work she can't just be flipped around at will, a little bit of planning is required. Our bodies align so that we can gaze into each others eyes and kiss the whole time. Very intimate, especially if you add in some candlelight and soft music.

Sex with Akina is not like sex with a woman. The feel is very similar and a blind taste test would probably prove this. But Akina doesn't breathe, sweat, moan, or do anything that I'm not making her do. Sex with Akina is waaay better than a Fleshlight or masturbation though. Despite not being a woman, she still has a presence and I feel a bond with her already.

Cleanup can be a bit of a challenge, but I think that will get easier with practice. Unlike the Fleshlight or masturbation, you kind of have to commit to cleanup after the deed is done. We did enjoy a little afterglow time, but I doubt it's a good idea to roll over and go to sleep and clean her up in the morning. So far I've used gonestill77's method linked here http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=77061. But the first time I neglected to let her drain for a few minutes, and then the very crucial part of patting the inside of her vagina dry before using the fan. When I double checked her the day after she still had some moisture at the very back of her vagina. I ended up using a rigid straw and a microfiber cloth to get her nice and dry. Crude, but it seemed to work.

A few other things I've learned during our first week together:

Akina weighs about 70 lbs (32 kg) which is in the range of what I was expecting. My research on the WM 158 had her somewhere between 62 - 75 lbs.

I still suck at wigs.

Lipstick will come off very quickly if you kiss your doll often.

Any color on the labia and areaolas will come off the first time you apply mineral oil. This was a mistake on my part, but not too worried about it as like lipstick they can be redone.

Akina looks and feels fantastic in a full body stocking, especially when sleeping with her. But I don't think this is a good beginner's garment. It was a pain to put it on. I ripped it in at least two places. The [standing] feet are especially troublesome when putting this on.

Moving her around really isn't difficult, it's the lifting up and down that's challenging.

I already feel some empathy for Akina. I had family over last night, and rather than pack her away I just messed up the bed and pulled a blanket all the way over her. I felt bad about doing that to her.

I absolutely love sleeping with Akina, but I'm not sure yet if I'm sleeping better or worse. I could still be adjusting since she very much owns one side of the bed now.

Akina came with a "53" written in red permanent marker on the inside of her head. After a few days this had bled onto the top of her neck. Not a terrible thing since it's out of sight when her head is on. But I went ahead and put a piece of masking tape over the 53 to prevent any more staining (see pics below) I'm disappointed that the manufacturer did this.

To end on a positive note, my first week with Akina has been wonderful. Despite the little troubles I have no regrets. At the end of a hard day of work I know she will be there for me, to cuddle with in bed as we drift off to Wonderland.

Two weeks in and still loving every moment I spend with Akina.

I made an attempt at touching up some of her makeup using this very simple kit and brushes. You can see her lips were almost back to the TPE skin color, but a few minutes with the sponge applicator brought some nice color and definition back, and the lip gloss made her look really yummy! Same with her areola and nipples: the left one is before, and the right one I had gently brushed on the blush from the makeup kit. This was surprisingly easy to do and I was very pleased with the results. It does wear off very quickly though with use (which is almost immediate since she looks so yummy!), but it's super easy to reapply. I really enjoyed seeing her color and definition come back as the makeup was applied. There's much room for experiment here with different colors, techniques, and patterns. I've built scale plastic models for years and I've always really enjoyed painting the bare materials and seeing the model "come alive." I think I may have found a new canvas.
