Nothing wrong with 'happy snaps', photos are only a fragment of time kept in view for posterity and it's what makes your memories of that moment for you that teensy bit special. A staged pic always looks fabulous when you get it right, Cadence carries the show well, but it's the odd unplanned pic when you suddenly see some angle that you hadn't planned on, the 'happy snap', thats the one that takes the biscuit.

playtime wrote: I think because of my lack of time I tend to rush mine a bit,.. Time plays a HUGE role in life size doll photography. Preparing the doll (putting on lingerie or clothes, getting her wig on right, makeup, etc.), posing her for the effect you want (can be time consuming but not always), setting up lighting and then finding a correct angle isn't a process that can be done in a matter of minutes. That shot I just posted with her wearing zebra boots was done Friday night and took about 3 1/2 hours prep time to the final shot. Some have taken 5-6 hours and those are probably our best ones. Resources are also important. Of course things like $1000 plus cam lenses, designer clothing, luxury homes and such are going to improve the look of one's pics tremendously. Time is the biggest factor of the two, though. All the resources in the world won't help much if you don't have time to do the shot.

Playtime. I love your "off the cuff" images Playtime. Here's the answer for you.... I once asked Jeany Savage, a page 3 pro tog, ( a proper school mistress type if ever there was one) how long it took her to get her scene set , a farm barn scene in the studio, for my mates glamour shoot. She said five mins - I got the boys to do it for me!!

You have some terrific shots in your album, playtime. I love this one a lot (that wig is too cool and great angle): and this... and this (which I commented on in TDA)..

Pics 1. 3. 4 are great, your usual grand standard but 2 is off the scale, one poster on my Agnetha Bewitched post in the UK queried where my mind was going but liked it, I can only ask the same on this and say you've done it now, better that pic if you can................. I'll be surprised if you do.................. On here, members pose their dolls and I love seeing them and if I view a thread(I don't live here and view all) I like, I'll say so, airgirl or silicone but is there a problem commenting on BTs??????? New blood, lots have a look and the usual 'backbone of the forum' post. I'm biased I know but I'm surprised that you don't have a stronger following.

It seems that BT's are at the low end of the high end totem poll because conventional wisdom says they aren't real enough and they also cost about 15% less than an RD (implying that an RD is somehow better because it costs more). It's all baloney in my view. Thanks much FEN, and I hope you're around a long while and looking forward to your next presentation with Agnetha.
