i don't know...
After my experience, i would doubt that more and more. It's possibly a good discussion for an own thread.
It's not a question of good or bad, black or white....
Maybe more like analog vs digital (analog-wired) where both have their pros and cons, neither one replace the other..


Imagine... you take both of her hands, rotate and bend easy to the same time, lean them smooth on your body in an exact position without adjusting.
I have several dolls, most with hinged wrists. I like them all. But those action wouldn't be easy to follow with a Hinge. Additionally the movement is limited on one level or in one direction up/down.
For the purpose, what 6YE has intended - the best sexdoll on the market - it's just lifelike and nearly perfect. (just my opinion)
When longevity is suitable for that use - fine!

Before i own that doll, i was only pro hinged wrists
After that experience, you can call me doubting thomas..
Like to know, what 6YE is thinking about that..

Ball jointed wrists would most certainly be interesting and helpful.

You're right that hinged wrists to date have not had the third dimension of movement - only updown and rotating, without having a left-right movement available. This means that a doll with hinged wrists can't handle a hoover handle nor a knife to cut a cake.

Dolls with wire wrists are more capable in that regard but however gently they do the housework wires will fail with metal fatigue. However, a prototype doll from another manufacturer was tested by a friend last year to destruction and 200 movements failed to break any of the wires.

So it's good to hear of you enthusiasm for this design and your review bodes well for anyone looking for a doll to fall in love with.

Yes, you are right harem.
A ball-joint based wrist, would definitely substitute both designs, wired - and henged wrists. That would be really great. But it has to be small and flat enough, that it could fit in the wrist area. Maybe the hand gets thicker...

I will you all stay informed, how long the wires do their job and if my opinion changes sooner or later.
Like i'm said in the review, they make a good impression for longevity..
