We have installed a new option in our CoverDoll Gallery 2 system to allow for easy linking to your photos from other forums and websites such as TDF. Also you can link to the gallery pages now as login is no longer necessary to view all photo sizes. Special thanks goes out to synthyours from TDF for his suggestions and help in setting this up.

When you have any picture or thumbnail showing in the CoverDoll External Gallery, you can
select the <item actions> drop down and select the Get item URLs
option.

You get both BB code AND Html code, but TDF does not support HTML code in Gallery 2, so just use the BBCode links.
You can also copy any Image link into your TDF posts and use img iborder or imgthm

But it may be even better to use "Show a clickable thumbnail linking to
the item:" as you could pop a few thumbnails in your post and not force
a lot of downloading every time people log the page.

All you need do is copy and paste the link into the TDF post. You do
not even need to click the img button in the TDF box, so it is actually
less work now to link a CoverDoll Gallery 2 photo than it is to link
any other And gives you three link options.

Now Incredi and Camp will stop beating me with that big stick and saying we want to link our photos at TDF

Okay, just tested it out and it works with just copying the html link. I did both a thumb and a resized image

So guys, you can now link directly to the gallery with a preview thumb or just show one photo.

Ha... I did it I put a 8" border and resized to 600.

Glad to see it works over here. It only took Bianca and I an hour to sort out. You would think that gallery software would automatically include the functionality to link from outside the gallery, but no.

Your getting there. Click edit to see the code that I added. I put; border="6" width="800" That just added the black border and resized it to 800 across. You don't need the border. For now just add: width="800"
I got the origonal code from the second line down from the top were it says Html code image.

That certainly is a sharp and clear high grade picture

There is a lot more space at CoverDoll to store bigger pictures. Plus you can blog about your doll.

I just want to apologize that I somehow omitted to thank TDF member, synthyours, for all his great help and advice in getting this mod done at CoverDoll.

It is the contributions of members like this that help to make our community a better place.
