Which is your favourite face?

Of my dolls it was Joon today who told me that I'd been neglecting her recently and finding her in the matrix http://matrix.dollforum.com/doll_generi ... lnber=1111 I noticed not only that not at all many dolls have been registered recently, but as doll 1111 she's a special girl. From curiosity looking at Patrick's website, I found that my Joon's a special girl with a more delicate shade of lips

and in my mind so much more attractive than on Patrick's page

and I'm so lucky to have her.

In truth, I've just ordered a sister head for Joon, falling utterly for the sweetest of them all, Mina. What colour eyes should I choose? And lipstick? And that's how I ended up looking at the site and comparing the faces.

So choosing a PIB can be fraught with some differences and looking at Patrick's page
http://privateislandbeauty.com/faces/index.do there are some really fantastic creations there. Mina, Kira and possibly Angelique might be my fantasy ladies - and my Bella

seems more attractive possibly than her official portrait

I know someone who looks just like Bella Way Oral, which is really weird and perhaps my Joon looks a little more like Angelique. Cleo looks as though she's stepped off the Great Gatsby film set, or an Agatha Christie - Murder on the Nile . . . and these faces are really fun because perhaps so many of us can relate to the facial types that Patrick has created. In my opinion, this selection of fantasy ladies are more natural than any other western doll maker and I hope not to be murdered for saying so: were I to do so on any other forum most certainly I would be, and threatened with being banned for life

But I like to celebrate and enthuse about what's good, and to me Patrick's work is art and genius.

So the impetus behind the poll of this thread. Which face do you like best? I've set it to give a choice of three as perhaps it's difficult to identify the one . . .

Perhaps an enthusiastic mod might set it up with more of the format of the competition voting format . . .

As you might expect, I am the first (and will likely be the only) to vote for Gaia. I just wish you made a smaller body (preferably one like Wicked's Lupe) to go with that oh so kissable face.

It's nice to Gaia chosen. We've had a couple orders for her recently.
Also, if you check her stats you'll find that our Girl Next Door body is nearly identical to Lupe's. We came out with them just about the same time.
I need to create mixed race version of a new head to fit the GND.
I'll get on that!

Hi Harem, It's great news that you're getting a Mina. Comparing faces and features is a lot of fun so please share some
photos of her when she arrives. Can't wait to see what she looks like.

I voted for Kira, Aria, and Luna but it's such a hard decision with so many pretty faces to choose from.
Mina, Isis, Ellowyn, Hope, and Eden are all close runners up for me. But they are all such organic works of art.

Sometimes when you see a face with different color eyes or with a different wig or shot from a different angle, skin tone,
thickness & slant of eye brows etc., it can completely change your perception of her.

Just as an example, look how two different Ellowyn's expressions are in these photos from P.I.B's website.

Subtle differences can completely change her personality or even her age. That's one reason why it would be so much fun to have several of each.

I get very confused between faces at times.

There was a PIB just sold to a friend and the vendor called her only "Whatshername" . . .

Has anyone any idea what her name is? Is this Bella or Eden?

That is a Bella face, Haremlover

One of my favorites and one of Patrick's first ones.
MY other two favorites are the Cali and Divina faces,
in fact their pictures on this list are of my actual girls!

It is indeed hard to decide on favorites here. When a PIB owner photographs their doll. At times, I have a challenge recognize what face it is. So many differt angles make such a variety of looks. its like Patrick has figured out the faces of the world at thier common denomitator. Just from these little photos, I'd go for Hope, of course. Then Mina and Kira. Interesting you thought of putting this poll up. Most of us picked our face from these photos. It was a fast decision for me! Hope non oral. jumped right out and now Grace is one of my dream girls. Now Mina is part of our family. Her open mouth and sweet little innocent look will be a Alotta fun to play with!

I have spent the last few days working on another new face , and just realized an hour ago that it is New Years!!! So... Happy New Years to all. May it bring joy to all of you. May we all have many moments of beauty and love... Maybe that sounds corny, but, that's what I hope!!
