I can highly recommend the Afinia printers and the company. This is a new one they just came out with that has a 10" x 8" x 8" print volume.digitaldavid wrote:Can anyone recommend me a 3D printer that can print a full sized head? I want something under $3,500

It's still on pre-order but they should start shipping in July. $1,899.
They are also coming out with a line of filament that is designed for printing larger parts on the H800.

The premium filament that is designed for the printer works the best.digitaldavid wrote:Can you recommend which filament to use for best details? Hopefully this printer prints in high detail.. I've seen some on Youtube that weren't so good.. It'll be great to not have to create a clay casting out of the 3D printed image and then resculpt to add detailing.
