Hi,Kharn
I'll show you how it was done.
I've done several surgical operations and still continue doing for a few years.
Muzza kindly shows my former post, it contains my another tool(method).
Now,as this pic. I use Magnets to close RealDoll's legs.
Also please watch Youtube movie.

fabin,
For some reason I do not seem to be able to post a comment on youtube to your video.
So I paste what I said here.
Hi mewfit,
Ingenious and inspirational. And beautiful doll.
However I don't understand the stereo. Better if just the one image. Also, for your info, my eMac with adsl did not receive a clean smooth running video. It jerked and stopped, even after being fully loaded. Had to watch by moving cursor along with mouse. Probably just me, being non tech and computer simple.
I invite you to view my simple friendly message at

Thanks fabin and my old mate muzza

The combination of the two makes a doll look fantastic in a standing position. Kudos to your efforts., and a Big THANKS to Mech for bringing back this topic and showing us how to do it again with the lovely Zara.

The more complex stance modifiers looked too scary to me. They put a lot of stress on the base of the doll's neck and basically force the doll to stand straight.

With a spacer (in this case a nut) to allow for the thickness of the doll's skin, it bolts up as close as possible to back of the neck. Two bends basically follow the line of the lower neck. All this does is move the hanging point for the suspension strap up 3.5" and forward about 1.25 - 1.5", or for the metrically inclined, up 85mm and forward 40mm.

Image

And this is all it takes to make her stand straight without the RealDoll crouch that everyone is used to. A back or butt support will push her forward, but for photos this is so much easier. It also allows her to wear high necked clothing without having to cut a hole for the neckbolt.

Image

She can be spun about to take photos from any angle without having to move the camera. We had hours of fun snapping her new wardrobe.
Wow, please tell me you make these and sell them, this entire invention is just stunning, or does someone know where I could have something like this made?
Any help is welcomed.
Don't forget to tip your artist, or leave a honest review, it goes a long way for us.Image

Hello. Great idea, but as I'm looking at it...what does the bolt thread into on the back of the neck? Sorry, just playing catch up here.
