I used the Apple Barrel brand from WallyWorld 50c a bottle, cuz the flesh tone pig i got from Douglas & Sturgess was to dark, so adding a little white acrylic paint didn't inhibit the cure. here is the mask i poured

I first tried the acrylic paint on a tin cure formula i found online, how i skin one of my dolls: use VM&P Naphtha, about 2tbs with one squirt from the caulking gun, then add the acrylic paint and stir the piss outa it. It will take more time to cure, but a great way to form doll parts, like a tongue, and mouth interior, and i made a vag using this, and added some "ribs" in the vag, sure worked for me anyway

I've found that the Permatex flowable windshield sealant works very nicely with acrylic paint tint.
Since it's a semi liquid instead of a thick paste like caulk it doesn't need any thinning and the paint mixes in easily. It also self levels into a nice smooth coating when brushed on. If you want a matte finish, wait about an hour and sprinkle on some baby powder and blow off the excess.

Thanks, brilliant ideas, I'll use the baby powder as you mentioned.

RE: Coloring Platinum silicone.
I guess it should be mentioned there are 2 different aspects of this subject.

Silicone "Tint" is mixed into the actual liquid silicone that will be cast to make a object. For example, a doll.

Silicone "Paint" is applied to a silicone object that has already been cast and demolded.

Higher cost dolls have the silicone tinted and then the doll is sometimes enhanced with silicone paint.
Movie props are done this way to create max realism.

Here is a site that has info on such things and list many types of tint and paint.

This was just a quick google search. I know nothing about this company.

That would require a work room and plenty of ventilation.

If you are just coloring lips or just eyes that would work out well. If you are looking to color the whole doll that will not do.
