Storage Boxes - Coffins for Dolls

Post by Aberdare »

Greetings!

I know, Coffins can be a somewhat morbid issue to some folks, but a wonderful novelty item for others.

I am offering - Made to Order Wooden Boxes that resemble a coffin, and others that are... well, they are pretty dammed close to the real thing. I have constructed one for Jenny, and I am in the process of constructing 3 more for my other girls, Alexandra, Jennifer and Jaquelynne.

I am currently working on a fully upholstered version with Bed Liner, Inner Lid Cover and Side Covers. Photo's to follow later. For the additional three I am building... One will have a classic Raised Lid (Jennifer has large breasts), a Toe Pincher Version (trapezoid shaped), and finally - the classic Hexagon Shaped (wide at the shoulders). The Raise lid will be in two versions - Gable & Shed Versions, as well as the box can be with an optional 60 degree Reversed Gable (angled sides).

Jenny's is a simple Pine Box with flat Lid finished in Double Boiled Linseed Oil. Inner Dimensions - 180cm (70in) X 50cm (20in) X 28cm (11in). Materials - 1 x 12 Pine, 2 x 4 Spruce, 1/4 MDF, Linseed Oil Finish, Surplus Cabinet Hardware.

1) All Pieces cut and ready for assembly.

2) Assembled (Upside Down) *Note the bed rails to reinforce the bottom*.

3) Assembled (Upright).

4) Handles Installed.

5) Fully assembled with Lid.

As this is an Adult sized coffin, it is a wee bit heavy... Weighing in at approximately 40kg. The Classic Pine Box - Jenny's... also makes a great coffee table! It's not fancy - but it is fully functional! I can also install Cylinder Locks to keep out Prying Eyes.

Love it! Remingds me of my bed that I made from my doll's box. Find out more on my doll box/crate storage thread here on TDF.

I have no idea until I do a labour rate calculation... a prototype always takes much longer than a production model.

Guys, its a wooden box with a lid. A seventh-grader could make one. Aberdare, no offence.

That's my plan! My doll will be lying in the coffin normally and I will be placed on top of her balls deep. With the added benefit of my exposed butt facing outward in a final gesture to tell the world to kiss my ass!

Hi Stewie,
Stewie studmuffin wrote:...don't forget to dress the ladies as vampires when storing them in there! :vamp:
Perhaps coffin could include a stepper motor assembly
that will cause doll to sit up when lid is opened.

And, perhaps doll makers would design a vampire
head for the doll. - Or - an entire Vampire-doll
complete with claws on fingertips.

Image

Future robotics technology could allow doll to sit up,
open mouth, expose fangs, hiss, and bite the dude
in the neck upon attempt to use the doll.

Distant future technology - Werewolf doll. Full moon,
converts into werewolf.

Doll users might want to think twice before
attempting oral sex

Addendum:
Dude orders a vampire doll
Customs inspector opens container
Doll sits up and hisses at the inspector.
Inspector needs CPR for heart attack.

Wouldn't that be poetic justice for all the dolls ever siezed? :grab: :evidence: :haha4:
