Silicone Dolls without Skeleton - Opinions?
Silicone Dolls without Skeleton - Opinions?
as you all know we are working on our first prototypes that will hopefully hit the market by next year. While experimenting over the past couple of months I also did a prototype which has no skeleton. There are actually some benefits to this as follows:
- lightweight
- flexible
- more lifelike during sex
So I wanted to ask the community what you think about this. Our normal dolls will of course have a fully articulated skeleton, however I was thinking about those people who want to own a tall doll, but don't want it to be heavier than 15-20kg. At the end it makes sense - or does it?
Thanks for your replies,
George

Re: Silicone Dolls without Skeleton - Opinions?
It's an interesting idea- there is a similar gal now - a PIB. Fluid bendability, compared to a standard skeleton, and light(er) weight. I would think there is a market for a no skeleton gal. But I would also think it's going to be more limited to just sexual functions. "More lifelike during sex." Hmmm, no offense, but only if your sexual partner is unconscious mabey. Having juggled a PIB for numerous photo shoots, I would think no skeleton would be similar to wrestling a 40-50# wet noodle. But Im always open to be proven wrong. .

It would probably be much safer to sleep in bed with, and not risk damaging it during the night.

but VRD's are only 32 or 38" tall.ValarMorgulis wrote:I think it could work. VRD has (or had) Kelu models without skeletons called Floppy Flo, I believe. We should seek their opinions on how much they like their smaller maidenly cousins, and ask if they would want a size upgrade.

I would not want to carry a non-skeleton silicone doll over 4' tall.
TPE ??
Maybe if a doll is 99% bed ridden.

Spot on the money right there...and a bigger doll would be like an octopus to handle, but..hey...hours of fun right there!ValarMorgulis wrote:I think it could work. But the proverbial catch is if someone buys a doll and afterwards, like myself have been able to experience, wants to do more with his doll he has made the wrong choice.
Cheap is not always equal a good buy

I bought a used doll like that where the ends of the bones poked through the silicone during shipping when the original owner received it. I bought it from him thinking I could repair, but the silicone was very poor quality so it never got repaired.Cnyb wrote:Interesting. Would an intermediat. Skeleton make any sense, is arms with no elbow or shoulder joint, legs with no hip or knee, central support -- all just to limit some of the squiggling and maybe support things for more durability not sure if it makes sense.

Re: Silicone Dolls without Skeleton - Opinions?
There really is no doll skin w/a softer core. It's generally all one type material. And the push for yrs is max softness. To do a tough skin doll would be a hard shore dragon skin silicone and then everyone would complain it was like screwing a radial tire!apliz2005 wrote:Well .... I like the idea, now what I would suggest is very durable skin, so she can be tied up, suspended etc. If the skin is more resilient to damage I definitely think she would please a lot of people
ETA: If a doll could be made w/a foam core, then a dragon skin impregnated cloth sub dermal skin, then a layer of soft silicone over top of that, that may work. But this is a very complex design vs the single pour into a mold dolls.

I guess we will have to wait for a genius to come up with self repairing skin made with nano technology ...rubherkitty wrote:There really is no doll skin w/a softer core.
