Plastic food for a Plastic Man
You can buy synthetic food which is used for display purposes or for props in movies and theaters. However, I found that most were either expensive, or didn't look real enough for my standards; and if your buying online, you tend to want to know how life-like it really looks as apposed to the photos you see on the screen.
I decided to make my own, using an oven-bake Polymer Clay, in this case Sculpey(3). Here are my results. I have used colored sand for the salt and pepper shakers: sealed to prevent accidental use. The eggs were bought from a store in town. The mini tomatoes were bought from a store as well. The Pasta is real, as it doesn't go off in it's raw state and they were too difficult to make in the clay. The cheese, tomato and lettuce that you see in the sandwich are made from felt, where as the bread is made from the polymer clay.

I have other photos I took that night, but because they include me, don't think I should post them, but they do show a lot of love and affection.VonRubber wrote:Hello Velanah Torres,
