LadyPeridot is getting her dream doll!!! Dec 2009
This doll is the latest model from trottla(I am no longer comfortable sharing the websites url's due to the manufacturers latest choice in pictures on his first page./). It is not a sex doll but a articulated silicone model. They are not used as sex objects and I in noway promote pedophilia. I do not condemn the ownership of these dolls nor other childlike dolls for I recognize it's importance in the fight against abused and exploited children. <This was like a little disclaimer.

My small dolls were the beginning but I never felt really apart of the owners category. Having an actual size doll really take cares of the heart ache of having unique sized little dolls. I spent just about 50 dollars on clothes that barely fit or didn't at all. The fun of it left because of money. But now I can go to the salvation army and pick out 5 shirts for 2 dollars. But most of all. I can hug her and sit her on my lap and brush her hair.
There has been a hole in my heart and I think this little girl doll will help me. All of my cousins are mothers. I have 3 older brothers and none of them are anywhere near having children of their own. I can't help be envious of those who must provide and discipline for a small human being. I maybe be 19, 20 in 8 months, but my want to gloat over a little girl or boy is overbearing.

Actually I am buying from a previous owner. I have contacted Trottla about things such as care kits to accompany the arrival of my doll but emailing in English costs me time and misunderstanding. One of the things that amazed me about this doll was the skeleton! It is absolutely awesome. I want to be able to feel the ribs when I pick her under under her arms. That will be an amazing experience. If I were to have a second choice of a child doll it would probably be Madoki from Pure Dolls mini. But there are very cartoonish and more like anime chibi's. I am very lucky to has gotten a chance to purchase a trottla. I had heard they is extremely rare in the US. Makes me all the more lucky!
I am not ready fully to have a full size doll. But I do not see this deal jumping at me in 5 years either. I will make her comfortable in my home until I move out of the dorm to an apartment where I go to college. But this is defiantly a great choice for me and a wonderful christmas/new years present

I am sure that your new doll will give you that comfort. I remember growing up, I had a small doll that I got one Christmas that was the size of a teddy bear. It had a helmet and football uniform. It went everywhere with me. I never realize the attachment that dolls create until I got the grown up dolls.
I hope the wait goes quickly for her. Just saw your post for Artist, since she is PO, the wait shouldn't be long at all.

I'm very happy for you, and what an amazing doll!
I'm sure that you will wow us all with the clothes and pics of her. She is truly beautiful, and I hope that she can fill that space until you get to the point in life where you can have your own children.

Awww! So happy for you LadyP! I have never heard of such a doll, but looking at the gallery, she looks so real! She's way more real than the girls over at Puppengarten http://puppengarten.npage.ch/willkommen_57128144.htmlLadyPeridot wrote:I have done it. Through pure miracle I have been offered my TOP CHOICE out of all of the doll world. The deal was sealed this afternoon and in just a couple of weeks (assuming) I will be getting my very own Trottla. She is a realistic child seamless doll from none other than Japan. As a female doll collector, I appreciate the seller of this trottla in recognizing my longing for her. I am a young college student, but my ambition in art and fashion has persevered resulting in the gift of "my little girl". I am excited to begin making a wardrobe for her and grooming her to no end.
What are her measurements? Looks like she is anatomically correct, too. I'm happy for you. Wonder how much a new one would cost a person?
Awww! You already bought her things, I did that with my Lolly before i had purchased her, and some of the things I had purchased were too big for her. Hopefully you know the sizes and everything.for now I am happier than a little school girl. This trottla will be a my niece/little sister/daughter and she will be definitely be spoiled to no end.
Welcome to Doll Ownership!

I know that when I divorced my wife, I really missed my daughter, since she went to live with her mother in a different state, since she got back with the guy who she was originally plaaned to marry (her fiancee) before she met me, and left him for me. Then I left her... But anyways, I mised her a lot, wrote much about her in my writing. Contact is not restricted at all, but I just can't stand her mother much, hard and difficult to talk to my daughter when she monitors everything. But I haven't seen her in a long time (she's 6 now, and around 6 months old when I divoreced my wife). But as the years went by, and the way that I was during my marriage, up until now, I am not a good husband or someone to live with - too self-centered and want to be left alone. Everyone is much better off now where everyone is at. Her middle name is Rose, and I often think that we are both flowers, but not the same kind. She's growing up in a loving caring home, not a controlling one as I was making it. I wanted her in the best schools (Montessori) and not around certain people, etc. I thought I was protecting her and such, which I was, but just went overboard, perhaps. But took many years to realize that. Parenthood, being a husband - not for me. Doll Ownership is what I was made for. But I couldn't see myself buying a doll as some kind os surrogate daughter. But I think that , like me, when you get your dollie, you might learn a lot about yourself, I sure as hell did. Hopefully you can patch up that hole in your heart, find things out, and so on. It will be interesting. I wonder if these type dolls would be good as surrogates for mothers or fathers who lost their daughters, or couldn't have one and can't adopt and so forth. Interesting. Dolls are there to help us.
The trottla doll is really cute. I think she is adorable, and also kind of comical. She looks a bit grumpy but in a funny way. She makes me laugh.
narcissus, since you offered a personal touch I guess I will..
When I was a little boy, about 4 or 5, I got this little baby doll and I just loved it. I was inseperable from that doll. I carried it around everywhere with me and hugged it. It drove my dad NUTS! He tried everything he could think of to get that doll away from me. He even got me one of those pedal car fire engines, thinking I would have so much fun with it I would put down the doll so I could steer the fire enging. Nope, I would drive it around with my doll in my lap. LMAO!
I don't know what ever happened to that doll. He must have snuck it away from me somehow. Then I had a set of bears, 4 orange teddy bears, mama bear, papa bear, and two baby bears. I kept those until I was 20. I even wrote a song for them that is kind of a funky march, called 'My Orange Bears'.
Enyoy your baby doll sweatheart.

102cm tall -40.2 in- 3.3 ft
Bust 51cm - 20.1in
Waist 45cm - 17.7in
Hip 55cm - 21.7in
Feet 16cm- 6.3in
She weighs 7.1 ~ 7.8Kg. - 15~17 lbs
This head and those wigs.
From what I calculated her torso is so small she can fit into toddlers clothes. She is an xs in little girls in some brands. I have some tights coming in and I'll be stopping by the salvation army and other thrifts stores. I want lots of different tops and bottoms so I can begin arranging outfits! EEEE I am super excited!!!
Thank you all for your congratulations! I am so freaking lucky!
