Re: Tonner Dolls
Amanda is a Tyler Basic Blonde who has undergone a hair restyle and an artist repaint, so that she is now no longer a standard Tyler.
She wears a satin ballgown.
The Tyler Wentworth range is I think Tonner's longest running range. They have gone through a few changes over the years, including several head sculpts which have made them progressively more mature in looks. Amanda is one of the latest incarnations. The basic body shape remained with a busty figure with a wasp waist and rounded hips, very Barbie-like. The main change to the bodies over the years have been the increase in the points of articulation with the latest being the bend-wrist type. As it suggests, the arms bend at the wrists as well as elbows. Earlier ones had fixed elbows and wrists with the only arm movement being at the shoulder. Later ones bent at the elbows with the latest including the wrists as well. Tyler's body was also given to many special dolls including the Agent 99 with the Anne Hathaway head sculpt. Mine is the Dancing with a Spy variant.

The Tonner dolls got an elegant like them look to them which makes them better than any possible barbie out there
because they are of a different brand. Very fashionable and carry a unique sense of beauty to them. You make

Re: Tonner Dolls
Some lovely dolls here indeed and delightfully shot! I've been out of the doll circles for a little while but took a few photoshoots of some of my dolls a few years back, including with my 16" Tonner dolls, but also some other smaller dolls too. They mostly feature my dolls wearing furs and include a couple of attempts to create photostories with the girls.
As the best of my doll photos are on my Flickr page I thought it best to link to that here rather than attach images directly.

Re: Tonner Dolls
Thank you for your kind words. I only have four of my Tonner dolls these days, keeping my "celebrity" ones of Nicole Kidman, Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, plus a Brenda Starr doll who reminds me a lot of a good friend. Might look to expand my collection of such dolls more in future, particularly amongst their celebrity range. I doubt I'll get the time to do such photostories with them though: they were surprisingly time-consuming and fiddly to arrange and complete.

FDF
