I've been trying to find a good artist's model for drawing the human figure. I want something with a lot of poseability. I've been using a Microman figure. It's ok, but not great. I really like this figure:

The site is in Japanese though. Where can I buy that in the U.S.?

From what I can tell with some quick searching, it's not available yet, but should be sometime this year.

Price somewhere between 18,000 - 25,000 yen (or $226 - $326).

I've been looking for a good artist model too... I settled for some flexible mannequins which are arriving today. Drawbacks are that the backs and feet aren't flexible, but at least I can drape cloth on it nicely at full size.

I hope it comes out soon. That price range seems fair and affordable for the quality it appears to be.

that depends on how durable it is. Some of the people on blog pages were saying they thought it looked pretty fragile. Would suck if it breaks easily.

I've heard of people buying these $900+ dolls which break a joint after only one photo session. I'm pretty miffed myself after buying a $130 brand new unused Edation Hot Stuff Doll which arrived with a toe bone already sticking out and several of the fingers starting to separate at the seams :/ I've only been making dresses for the doll, trying cloths on, not even posing it and more of the fingers flapped open just from that.
