Re: The Pewter Army
Don't sell yourself short though, astounding means for the good and bad paint jobs at these shows. Some of the things that vendors, who are supposed to be good, sell at these things are just dreadful.. and people still pay a good sum of money for it! (way overpriced.. but that's another thing)
But aah the good times, they were a-plenty Throw Hero Quest in there and we've got a party

Maybe this thread is in the wrong subforum (Open Forum might have been better), but just go ahead, I say!Filch wrote:Does this mean I can show off my warhammer 40k army?
I've got some pewter, too ("Celtos" miniatures, formerly by i-Kore, now Brigade Models):
And 1/72 plastics (figures by IMEX, buildings by Pegasus Hobbies):
Finally, some heavy metal (1/285 "Microscales" form GHQ Models):

Thanks, Lemminkäinen. That are at best "temporary dioramas": just loose figures and loose pieces of terrain arranged at whim on a grass mat.Lemminkainen wrote: Nice work Hotzenplotz! Did you lay out and make the diorama's they're on?

I may have to start making the Doll Meets, I need to find more gaming conventions.

Re: The Pewter Army
I love the 'gravel' on the bases.
Speaking of small dolls, does anyone recall when exactly it was when a doll for a boy turned into an "action figure"? I think it was around the time Star Wars came out with their line of miniature dolls. I had a big collection of them that were stolen.
