My Size Barbie broken hip fix

My Size Barbie w/ Broken hip flange.
Fix:
Die cast flange cut in 3 pcs, inserted into body then epoxied and screwed to hardwood core.
Hole drilled in leg top and flange assembly screwed and drawn into leg to a snug fit.
Flange assembly was also epoxied into the leg hole.
Now stronger than factory.

The inner ring actually broke off the legs letting them come off. Of course her legs now weight about 3 lbs each compare to 4 oz when they were just little hollow plastic things.
