I am planning on ordering doll.
Half of them have a seam running horizontally above the breasts. Has anyone experimented on how to take care of this themselves?

Any news on when seamless design will be available for body types other than 7?

I heard someone mention that Matt plans on making all the body types seamless by the end of the year. He was going to work on bodies #2 and #5 first as those seem to be the most popular.

Yes, body 5 will be first. You can read a discussion of this and other stuff in my factory visit trip report on the Darcy site. You can get to it from the Odds and Ends page. Pictures too. [img]modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img] [img]modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img]

Damn... One look at the Doll Matrix and I "knew" B2 would be the next to be seamless. 5 and 2 next. Okay, thanks.

I am going to have to call Abyss.
I wonder if they will take my money, give me the discount, but not build the thing until seamless is available for Body 4... (thinking to myself).

I've got everything picked out, but I'm torn between Head 4 and Head 9 on a body 4. Brunette hair, blue eyes. Input welcome.

Everyone here has been helpful, while I try to take in as much info. as I can so I can put in order before April 20.

I know what you mean. Body #4 is my personal favorite as well. I'd like to go for the petite, fair-skinned, green-eyed, redhead look. However, I think body #4 is the least popular so it will likely be the last to be made seamless. Personally, I think heads #7 and #9 would look best on a petite girl (head #4 is okay too). Hair style #10 is favorite of those listed, but a little longer to shoulder-length would be better so I'd probably just order my own wig. If body #4 was already seamless, I would have been terribly tempted by Matt's discount offer.

Sorry, Madame, it's too late. As discussed in this thread, it was a temporary promotion that only ran a month. Since it ended on April 20th, I'm afraid you missed it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif" />

Too bad I missed it. But it doesn't matter I can't wait to get my order in and start waiting. Well I took my time and made sure this is what I want. I havent gotten a reply from RD about the eyes. Dayna said they are made of lucite. Is that standard or do you have to pay extra?

I don't really know for sure what the eyes are made of. Don't remember hearing lucite mentioned before, but that doesn't mean anything. I often don't get the word. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif" />

Neither of my dolls, current and future, have factory eyes anyway. Darcy's are dual glastic realistic, and Guy Louis supplied the eyes that Anastasia (Taze) will have. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif" />

He's already shipped them to the factory, and they are sitting in a box waiting for a head in which to take up residence. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif" />
