Repairing Alexa...

I recently bought an Alexa doll, and she is very sweet, but already her vaginal passage has become partly detached.

I'd like to use that to my advantage and place some liner over the entry hole as there is a very hard ridge there that eventually will cause a tear - could somebody suggest what material to use?

Also, what glue can I use to stick the liner back? Alexa is the first doll I have bought so I am a complete novice in this area.
