Nicole's Surgery

Post by SynthetikReality95 »

My bottle of TPE glue arrived today, so after a week of being sick with worry, I finally got Nicole into her first round of surgery. Special thanks to Jeff at Booty Call Dolls for the free glue and continued customer support, and to Samara78 for taking the time to walk me through how to do this, and to Irishgirl for being there for me when I was freaking out about it.

As you might know if you've seen me around the forum, I forced in an insert without powder, twice, and ruined my doll's pussy. Tore her lips all the way across in multiple places. Thanks to the forum i was able to research how to fix her!

The first 2 pics are the initial damage before she started surgery ...ouch! 8O

Today, I spent over 3 hours very slowly repairing some internal damage, and fusing one lip back together. The first lip is repaired now! She will rest up for 24 hours and let the TPE finish setting up as much as it can, and then she'll go back into surgery to repair the other lip. After that it is going to be touch up work, trying to fix the scrapes and scuffs.

So far, so good. Good luck with the other lip.

Thanks D.A. :)

it looks worse than it is. It looks like a chunk is missing in the pics, but if i squeeze that together, it matches up. It's more area to cover than the other lip because that's the main tear...i may have to do half, and then half later.

Btw, for anyone curious, I am just using TPE glue on a toothpick. You want to get the toothpick wet, but not be able to see a droplet hanging on it...having to retry once because you put too little isn't that bad, ruining her with too much is. For the lip that I have sealed already, I needed to try 3 times before the glue broke down the TPE enough to mend it.

My operating room setup is just propping her ass on a cushion in an office chair. Get her legs up like this so you can easily open/close them and apply pressure where needed.

I would like to second this advice. You can always try again with more, you can't try again with less.

Droplets are bad because they are uncontrolled and will fall off in random places or the first place you touch, then run down the TPE. just the wet surface of the toothpick is enough, you just have to re dip it and wipe the droplets off on the side of the bottle of glue repeatably when you need more glue
Every day people remind me why I like dolls better.

Good news. I'm glad the repair is going well. This might not be helpful, but my fingers are crossed. :)

Don't forget to let the TPE set for several hours before movements. Total curing requires 24 hours. I assume you know that but state it here, since it's important information.

That's funny, KS. Awkward, but funny,

One more thing.

This isn't a bad photo, at all. :)

You might even double the allowed curing time where you do not move the doll just to be absolutely safe.

I've posted this before because the information stated applies, including the suggested measures for safety.

http://nerfhaven.com/forums/topic/18527 ... g-plastic/

Some of the comments are amusing while others are informative, so I recommend reading the comments in the thread.

One of the comments I read on that thread sparked an interest that had me reading for several hours about the first world war.
Oh, and one more thing -- almost all of these solvents are highly flammable, and in most cases if you even smell the smoke of combustion, just f'ing CALL 911 NOW! The fumes from burning some of exactly these kinds of solvents were used as POISON GAS in the first world war.
