One of a kind headstand...

I was bored today and decided to make a attempt to build my own headstand. Overall i wasted about $20 in parts. But,this could be built for about $20. I will make another attempt another day.

Main ingredient you need is a 5/8 x11inch threaded bolt,washers and 5/8 nuts. I haven't finished the final product, but you get the idea. I picked beer cans as a center piece cause it seemed easy. You basically tighten unless you hear the can start cracking. I will follow up with the 2.0 version.

4x 2 inch 5/8 bolt
4x 5/8 locking nut
28x 5/8 washers
1x 5/8 x11inch thread bolt
1x wood plaque
2x Bud cans
2x 5/8 nuts
1x 5/8 drill bit

This thing is heavy,it will not tip over. I was amazed that a 5/8 washer fits perfect on the bottom of a can. I am sure i could paint the wood and cover the cans with something. But,i kinda like the industrial look.

Great idea... unfortunately, did you take into account that the threaded adapter for the majority (if not all) doll heads is Metric? M-16 to be exact.

Just thought I'd mention it, before you cross-thread your lass' and ruin a $275.00 head for a $12.00 bolt.

Sure a 5/8 can work for some of the M16 threads.... https://www.dot.ny.gov/main/business-ce ... _table.pdf

But M16 comes in Thread pitch of fine at 1.5 and course at 2...so be careful if the thread starts do not over torque it...as this may strip the head insert thread and then its helicoil time.

A Good Head Stand is an invaluable asset to own as part of your lady's care kit. I purchased several from Beata Chen... it is a simple metal base with an M-16 Hex Key Bolt welded to it. It was worth the $18.00 I paid for each of them.

#1 in the photo... #2 is a spare neck adapter... #3 is the tow hook from a 2004 Volvo XC70 that a scavenged from a wrecking yard for $5.00 that I use to hang my girls for bathing, maintenance and dressing.

Here is one of my head stands in use recently, giving Jennifer a facial make-over.

FYI - Changing out your 5/8 bolt with the Metric M-16 bolt will make your stand unique, fully functional and ready for use when your lady arrives.
