New owner, Maintenance + Cleaning + Proper Storage help

Post by mannykk »

Hi I just purchased the Silicone 138cm (4ft6') Z-OneDoll New Labia Style from a vendor. This is my first doll ever so i was wanted to ask a few questions to make sure i use and operate the doll correctly.

1. Storage: I’m looking to buy a large lock box (chest) to keep her in. I am thinking of putting pillows and soft material to keep her from getting damaged. So here are my questions to make sure im storing her right. She will be laying down with limbs in natural down position.

A. What types of materials are safe to be in contact with Silicone for long periods of time without damage or staining?

2. First Time arrival care/cleaning + maintenance: I’m told by other doll members that I should clean the doll thoroughly when I first get her to get rid of any residue from manufacturing. What is the safest and best way to do this?

A. Can the doll be take a bath or shower (with head on) to wash her after use and maintenance?
B. What is the best kind of Soap to use for Silicone that won’t cause damage or unwanted ware?
C. What is the best way to air out her vaginal / anal / oral cavities? Would a air blower be safe for the silicone? (i have a air blower for cleaning computer, its electric power, would this be too strong?)

3. Bending joints: How far and how wide is it safe to bend all the joints/neck/wrist? are there videos showing this or instructions? I want to make sure I don’t misuse the doll and put her in any positions that could damage her.

I want to say thanks to the entire community here at TDF for helping me on my first purchase.

Lots of good info on those threads, but I will point out that they refer to tpe dolls which have a very different maintenance routine than a silicone doll. For example, I would never use mineral oil or Vaseline on a silicone doll.
