CoverDoll will be online but in offline mode for the next 24 - 48 hours due to migration to a new server. You should still be able to view articles in the meantime, but unable to make any blog posts or new comments.

We should have it up and running again very soon, but it will take a while to copy pictures and data over from the old to the new.

Eventually we will be integrating the logins so that CoverDoll and TDF share the same login system and you'll only need one login for both, which is part of why we're moving the site to this server.

Apologies for any temporary inconvenience.

By the way, the reason pages are loading so slowly (if you are trying to read it right now) is that the file transfer is taking all of the bandwidth of the server, so please be patient, or check back in another 24 hours after we're done with the transfer. The files as of this moment are about 1/3 - 1/2 of the way done transferring.

I sure hope the new "magazine' is more easy to navigate. All the flash in the world is pointless if it frustrates everyone.

You have got to be JOKING. (swear word before 'joking' edited out, it must break several rules).

CD is (was?) the easiest forum to navigate I have ever been on. One click and you were anywhere you wanted to be.

If CD becomes as user unfriendly with a new layout as TDF has become it is likely our blogging days are over unless I can find somewhere else to blog.

Jeez I wish things were left just as they were.

It is normal to resist change. Muzza you were just as uncomfortable with CoverDoll as you currently speak about TDF

It takes time to learn any new interface, but that does not make it difficult. But that does not make it user friendly.

Many, in fact did find CoverDoll hard to navigate.

The fact is the search function was far superior to the TDF search function in finding posts.

Szalinski, there is no flash at CoverDoll What is it you were trying to find and I'll show you how to get there in 2 clicks.

TDF is now the same. You have the recent posts options., plus if you are on the main page you can get to virtually ANY forum with one click and the navigation paths are shown top and bottom of the page so you can get to anything in between. Also clicking on the TDF name upper left header, gets teh main forum page back.

CoverDoll's Navigation will be arranged a little more like otehr eZines, but blogging, etc will be pretty much the same as well as the search function.

TDF Management

Actually, I was reffering to the online magazine, not the forum dedicated to it. That's no different than any other forum.

To my knowledge neither the Gallery nor teh eZine use Flash.

I am unable to access CoverDoll at the moment.

Hi Muz,There was an announcement over at CD yesterday saying that maintenence would be going on today. I know that siliventurer is over there right now and he has been there for most of the day.

Members wishing to upload their own Flash (swf and flv) video files may now do so at CoverDoll.

CoverDoll now has the ability to accept Flash swf and flv files as well as mp3 files, thanks to Siliventurer.

Select Play media from the Create Content section on the right sidebar.

When will the posted picture links from CoverDoll to the forum become active again, or are they perminately broken? Along the same vain. When can we post picture links from CoverDoll to various forums?
