I have just registered and it went flawlessly.

Don't know what's up but, now I have no email notifications at all from the forum, none in regular email or spam! How can I fix this?

AOL seems to be blocking the IP address we use to send out the notifications. Possibly because they think we're spamming their network, as the emails we send out are all very similar.

It's happening with other sites as well. Don't know what they did with their spam algorithm, but it's nailing a lot of legitimate sites.

Just played around with DNS a bit more, and fixed some things. ATT is blocking the IP of our new server, to I have some SNAT rules in place to use one of our other IPs for emails to them, so we'll see if that trick works. Meanwhile, I'm keeping an eye on the logs to see if I possibly fixed the other email rejection.

I've no idea, but somehow TDF just loads too slowly for me.

"Sales on TDF" forum (or any other forum list) takes forever. I get no data transfer activity for 30-45+ seconds.

Posts with lots of pictures: miserably takes forever.

TDF used to load in under a minute. Now it takes a miserably long time.

Dunno if I can pinpoint the problem... But I have done some local netcatting and there is a lot of timeouts involved.

What could be the issue?

I need to fix the backups... same issue as a few months ago, the system, by default compresses all 300 or more GIGs. So it takes a few hours. So need to re-implement the snapshots again.
At least if the problem occurs from about midnight to 4 or 5am (eastern time), thats what the issue is.

Just logged in to CoverDoll to check.
I note my account is still not operating in that it cannot be operated or amended, settings cannot be changed to allow video, etc ...
Any idea when it will be fixed and we can start blogging again?

Hi Muzza . The Drupal 5 site is static, but you still should be able to blog on it. Phreddie and Yuri are working on getting the new site up in December. It's a really big task as 15 years worth of martial has to be moved, plus all the relative plug-ins for video and such. Sorry for the inconvenience my friend, we'll let everyone know as soon as it's ready .

The site moved to a new server? Cool. I haven't even noticed anything different, so it must be going well.

requesting HTTPS on this site for privacy

We're already using SSL, but not by default.
If you want to use the forum like that, all you have to add is the s to http, and you'll be on the SSL version of the forum, but not all content is encrypted like pictures and such.
