Great photos Rocky! The team Mopar is on fire with this one!
Okay this just caused me to snort some coffee, thanks man.
As I said over in Rocky's thread, I have had the extreme pleasure of working with another one of Dodgeman's creations. The man is as good with metal and engineering it as Matt and Patrick are with silicone.

I get asked often how I make my RealDolls (Diane, Diana, and Tiffany) stand. I thought I would build upon the good work of our friend-to-all Rocky and provide a post showing the track and suspension system I use with Dogeman's stance modifier. I've seen that these setups can vary a great deal. I think it might be interesting to the community if others post their setup as well on this thread.
Before installing the rail I drilled holes at the end of the rail to fashion stops at both ends of the rail. I use nails and they have worked well for me ...

I also painted the rail to match the color of my celling.
To install the rail I located the joists on my ceiling by taking a peek at the attic, using a stud finder, and drilling a few pilot holes to find the edges of the joists. I installed the lag bolt centered on the joist. My rail runs perpendicular the the joists on my ceiling and I was able to use 3 lag bolts. The setup is sufficiently strong to hold the weight of 2 dolls. I know this because I've seen hammock systems using smaller lag bolts that are rated at 400 lbs. My rail system has been in use since September 2016. I hang my dolls from the rail every day and it remains rock solid. This is what the rail system looks like once it is installed ...

A few lessons I've learned from the installation and use of this setup ...
I painted my rail to match the color of my ceiling. If you are considering doing this then mask the inner lip of the rail to prevent the paint from flaking as you move the trolley along the rail.

An "S" hook is a good addition for easy mounting and un-mounting of the doll. However; having sex with your doll while she is attached to the lift system is not a good idea with an "S" hook.

The lift system is held together by a knot at the end of the cord. If the knot slips then the doll will fall. Make sure there's a sufficient length of cord at the end of the knot to prevent the knot from slipping. This picture shows the problem area ...

Dodgeman fashioned these pieces to slide along the rail and I prefer to use them in place of the trolley ...
