I'm very into Sci.Fi in general and in principle would like to see an adult SF story.
However, if the SF is used to 'bolt' the sex scenes together I'd find it a disappointment.
If it has a real plot and the sex scenes evolve from that, then it might be good.
the blurb (hype?) indicates that it might be a good SF story (that doesn't ignore off-duty antics so to speak), but still I wonder ...

Porn has definitely gone up-market, since the release of Pirates. This looks really classy.

Fer sure! This trailer was great.
The most important thing is making the movie interesting enough so the viewer doesn't just fast foward to the sex scenes. The acting was convincing and the plot was interesting.
Good point 1jayjay, but IMO the genre has been around since Barbarella and Flesh Gordon; just not as well done until Pirates.

It's definitely a different trailer for an adult movie than usual...

Usually, they show teasers of the sex scenes, but there isn't any nudity at all in the trailer, which seems promising, because the producers might focus on the story as well.
I'm definitely interested in watching this movie.

Yep!...especially since they've obviously spent the
big bucks on some pretty impressive computer graphics! Melding Sci-fi
and XXX could be a very interesting formula...especially if the sex
scenes are more believable, and certain camera angles and areas are
not so brightly lit. Soft-core leaves a little to the imagination and
that can spark up some excellent memories. Good looking cast too!

Well this does seem a much more ambitious adult movie.

As a big sci-fi fan, well sex and sci-fi have always run hand in hand.

You only have to look at any classic like Star Trek to see that. I used to love the old TV show Buck Rogers in the 25th century, the babes in that were always stunning and remember the one that started it all Metropolis, and the scientistt trying to build his perfect woman.

Anyway I know I'll be watching it, hot babes and sci-fi, well that's got to be a winner

I believe it was Roger Ebert whom said, “Pornography is when people spend too much time opening car doors.”

I don’t really go for porn with plot which tries to masquerade itself as a “real” drama, action or romance with some explicit sexual content.

The few porn films I have seen with actual plots were comedies making fun of themselves. This does work.

There are some films like, ‘Bring It On: All or Nothing,’ and ‘Bring It On: In It To Win It’ or ‘Walk All Over Me’ which I would consider erotic but did not contain any sexually explicit content.

Can't handle porn with plot. This looks even worse than some of those low budget Syfy Channel original movies. If I want to see a good sci fi flick, I'll watch Star Wars or something that is actually, I don't know... good. When it comes to porn, I just want to see the sex. In which case, I would probably just fast forward through the entire movie in order to see the scenes.

Yep, I'll watch it! It looks better made that some of the SyFy Saturday crap ("Ultrashark vs. Megawhatever") and the girls are hot (love Misty Stone). Now, if the sex scenes derive from the plot and the performers don't try to act too hard, they can have a winner here.
