Hello, I've been interested in purchasing a Wicked RealDoll, but have questions for other owners out there. How do I store my doll? Can I leave clothing on it without damaging the skin? How difficult is clean-up? And, more importantly, is it worth buying? Thank you for your time.

I don't have one but if you have never owned a doll that one is a lot of money. So what happens if you decide it's not your thing?

You end up selling at a huge loss that's what...

I strongly recomend that you buy a less expensive doll to start with and see if doll's are what you really want..

All silicone doll's are about the same as far a keeping them clean and stuff like that. Getting a used silicone doll will help you learn how to care for a doll like that. Then if you decide to you can then sell the used doll at a lot less of a loss because you bought it used and buy the one you want.

If you find the doll's are not for you. You can sell it as well.

(Removed)

Best of luck on what ever you decide...

Well the silicone dolls are the most expensive option, they're way out of my price range so I'll let the others answer your questions about them. But I would suggest trying out one of the cheaper toys, maybe just start out with a fleshlight or something, get used to how silicone feels and make sure it's something you like before you go all in.

Hello and welcome to the forum jeffroy7777... :D

You might just be in luck Midiman is selling his Jessica Drake doll if that's a doll you are interested in. I believe it's doll number 001 in fact here's the link to the sale. http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... ke+midiman

Wicked's have the latest and greatest features including articulate spines. You can store your doll either laying down, in it's storage container, or on a stand. Since the dolls are made out of platinum silicone it will not suffer compression marks as it was with tin silicone. Cleaning and powdering should be of no issue since you can sponge bath the girls.

One question you did not ask was dealing with weight... which is an important question to ask each doll in the line has a different weight the lightest one being Lupe.

As to the question of are the dolls worth it... that is a matter of opinion... if you are looking to have a pornstar as your girlfriend then they are worth every penny... they are for some people and not for others. It's like asking a person is owning a Ferrari worth the money... to the person who owns one it's worth every penny but Ferrari's are not for everyone. Some can afford them and others cannot.

Another person to ask on this forum is AlexKnight who owns a Kaylani.

Good luck with your selection.... :glou:

Thanks for the advice so far. Price is not an issue, I was wondering how sensitive the doll was, and if I needed to set it up in a certain way when not in use, or sit it on a chair. Also if I needed to remove clothing to prevent skin warping.

Welcome Jeffroy7777. Jump in, the water's great!
I second the notion of starting cheap.
Purchasing a 'high quality used' is also good advice, imho.

Hi Jeffroy, welcome to the forum!

I own a Kaylani Lei Wicked Realdoll, and IMO, she is worth every penny. I have never had any regrets.
She's with me for a little over 2 years, and for the most part, she has been kept on a stand, which is the best way of storing Realdolls in general IMO.

I always keep Kayla (that's what I've called her) clothed, and for weeks in a row, without any issues. The only thing you have to be careful about is that the clothes don't leach color onto the dolls skin. Although the discoloration fades after a while, it's a bummer if it happens, for the rest, it's no problem to keep clothes on her.

You can take a look at my album, or Kayla's picture thread (links in my signature), and so far, all the outfits you see there, she's worn for quite a while.

Cleanup is generally easy, as the Wicked dolls all come with an insert (unless requested otherwise).

That's not true, the heaviest Wicked Realdoll is 90lbs, which is jessica drake. Alektra is 80lbs, Kaylani is 70lbs, and Lupe is even lighter.

Since they have been made used platinum silicone compression issues are not seen with these dolls. However to be on the cautious side Abyss recommends the dolls where loose fitting clothing. I would say is you were to place your doll in a padded office chair I would say your going to be on the safe side plus office chairs with wheels are generally recommended for moving your girls around from room to room... saves on the back as well.

Again as long as the clothing is loose fitting you should be fine with your lady wearing her clothing for extended periods of time what I find works the best are the one size fits all also it will help if you have a stand it makes dressing a whole lot easier... :glou:

If you're storing it for a long time, use the shipping box. When outside the box use a soft chair or couch. Laying it in your bed is good too. Give it a shower every now and than.
To avoid dents, don't lay it on the same place for a long time.
If money is not your problem, she is most definitel an supermodel, which deserves the best you can buy. She is high maintenance like every beautiful girl is.

I hope you have strong back, because she will not walk wherever you want her to go. You'll have to treat her like a bride you carry in a new home, every time you want to move her :P
