Thanks man....I just watched some Youtube videos. Buying make-up at the store is funny because girls look at you funny when you are looking at different brands. I just look at 'em and say.."Relax...it's a gift for my girl"MrJohnBlack wrote:Dude!!! The makeup job is off charts:-( wish I could do make up!

Actually, yes a slight uptick in sales a bit so thank you and dolllover27 for that. Photography can be really fun even when it can be difficult dress up the doll, but after all is done you own that piece of artwork and people loves to look at it. I can say that most of us appreciate these artwork even if some who don't own the doll. The photos are just amazing. Not sure how you and dolllover27 does it, but I have so much trouble dressing up my own doll (even the smaller ones). So great job.mason703 wrote:
Thanks bud, it was a tough move but worth it. I didnt realize I had created such a feeding frenzy with these pics.....but I love doing it and it's nice to be missed. I can't wait to acquire doll #2. The photos will be off the charts! Have you guys experienced a boost in sales for this specific model? You must be pretty swamped with production.
I'm going to send you an email shortly regarding your doll #2, shall we call her Gina's twin sister?

Looks like it paid off, very nicely. Besides that, your use of lighting looks skillful, and the poses show her off well.mason703 wrote:I had to put every pic through photoshop. Windows 10...
Using a cheap, error prone camera, I found myself getting a great deal of practice at color balance correction and, after much practice, improved immensely. Anyway, since you mention Photoshop, do you mind elaborating? You might help others doing so.

Re: Gina's new blue dress
If you need any tips on dress up tactics I would be more than happy to share any and all information. I am seriously considering building a website dedicated to doll maintenance, dress up tricks, cleaning, repair's, where to buy clothes, sizes, shoes...etc. And of coarse lots of photo galleries. It will have videos and everything. Concerning Gina's twin sister..thats a great idea!PassionDolls wrote:Actually, yes a slight uptick in sales a bit so thank you and dolllover27 for that. Re: Gina's new blue dress
Yes, I use Photoshop to crop the photo, turn it clockwise or whatever rotations needed to get the photo upright (some phones and cameras will take the photo at a landscape angle). I also use contrast or brightness when needed. Nothing to difficult or intense...my skill in Photoshop is going on 10 years but I dont alter the pictures really, just some fine tuning.Obin wrote:Looks like it paid off, very nicely.
