Also, the adapter bolt can be completely removed from body and the head. Do you usually seat it in the head or body first before attaching the head? Maybe that doesn't matter. Thanks!

my dolls head would constantly end up swiveling around like in a scene from a poltergeist movie.
inconvenient at best, downright disturbing turn-off at worst.
I saw where one doll-owner home home-fabbed a type of ball & socket joint for the head and it seems like it should be a simple easy mod for manufacturers to offer

The thread is basically a nipple that you can find in the electrical section of your local hardware store.
I made a makeup stand for my doll's head with parts from that section of the hardware store.
