First, let the pics tell it first:
http://www.dollalbum.com/dollgallery/thumbnails.php?album=905
The story is that Kat had to go out to a meeting, so that left me and Daphne home alone, just me and her.
So, I was deciding whether to go with her or not. But I wanted to get Daphne's wig that uch was so kind to send to me at no additional charge because I needed a wig to complete the experience. And I didn't want to put up with Fay again regarding what was in the package.
So, after bringing Daphne out from her storage area (under my bed--Kat and I agreed to let me have her there when we decided not to have fun or do whatever anymore with her) and inspected her repair. Even though it's kinda crusty (I got over that quick), but they are holding up nicely.
I then put on her #!/usr/bin/girl tshirt that I was saving for the "right time" (that is, when I got her wig) and then one thing left to another, then you know what had happened... I'm not saying it here, you can figure that out for yourselves.
I even took pictures, especially when I wanted to fix her picture for her ID card that I painstakingly made and remade it. Then the "thing" I said before happened.
I then found some walking shoes that Kat was going to donate, but were pretty good in a sense, but they didn't fit Kat for some reason, but they fit Daphne just right.
I then took some pictures and they are up on my Doll Album.
Then Daphne and I had lunch together. We had beef and broccoli from the nearby Chinese restaurant. We washed it down with, oh, about three or so bottles of Bawls each. (According to Wikipedia, Bawls' taste is based on cream soda! No wonder Daphne and I love it! We both love cream soda!)
We then were watching Everyday Italian with Giada DeLaurentiis and Essence of Emeril on Food Network before I decided to open my MP3 folder and play some music. I started out with some Squeeze, then "Zero Wing Rhapsody," then some Mindless Self Indulgence then it coasted on from there.
Right now we're listening to a randomized playlist in XMMS that I created but just hit the Shuffle button so it doesn't play in an ordered order.
Well, I'm going to go here. I'm going to have another day alone with Daphne, and more pics are going up in my Doll Album when that happens.

Thanks to all who replied... so far.
Right now Kat is home asleep and I'm still awake. But Kat is going over my mother's house (my mother seemingly "adopted" her because her natural family disowned her) to have a little woman-to-woman talk about just general stuff, I think. But what I'm afraid is that my mother is going to bring up about me buying Daphne and somehow my brother (the biggest doll basher in my family, he got on my case for starting an IGN-TDF war about a year ago where my brother is a member of the IGN Founders' Club and I heard that he's a moderator on the "Wrestling General Board") is going to listen, hop in his car and drive over here and order me to destroy the doll. No way that I'm destroying Daphne to please him, anyway I moved out a little over half a year ago and he's still living with mom and he just turned 21. (I moved out when I was 19 the first time, then moved back in with mom for a temporary measure then moved out again before I turned 30.)
But anyway, that aside, you can bet that I'm going to spend another day with me and Daphne alone again tomorrow, and more pictures and such are going to be taken.
While I'm getting short on funds, I'm not going to order out again but I'm going to do some stuff tomorrow, maybe the same stuff, but I did buy that "<GEEK>" babydoll tshirt from ThinkGeek. It's because Daphne, plainly put, is one hella geek. She even helped me figure out what to do when I couldn't unmount my digital camera from my Linux box, she told me to type "mount" and check where it was located.
I saw:
$ mount /dev/hda1 mounted on / ... .... .... .... .... .... /dev/sda1 mounted on /media/disk-1 ...
I then typed "eject /media/disk-1" and then that was that. Thank you Daphne!
But I hope that tomorrow would just be as fruitful as today was.
CasperGhostman, Kathryn and Daphne
(Forgive me, I'm nearly asleep while I'm typing this. So my hands and arms are trembling and that means that I'm making mistakes and correcting them because my fingers are firing at the wrong keys, so I'm going to go here.)
Goodnight to The Doll Forum. Daphne and I'll see you tomorrow. Kat after that.

Hey, CGB!
Great photos! Thank you for posting the large size photo. I was surprised to see how damn PRETTY her face is! Wow. It's hard to tell from the smaller images...but she has a gorgeous face.
itsme, if you're reading this, you've done a GREAT job!
CGB, thank you for sharing this with us. And I'm glad you're enjoying her so much.

Hey all.
First off, thanks for replying.
Today's been a slow day as Daphne and I saw it. Kat, my fiancee, decided to have a "girls' day out" at my mother's house without me (that's okay with me) and right at 10:45 this morning, I took Daphne out under my bed and dressed her in her new blue jean capris. They look like freaking pants on her, fwiw.
Daphne and I saw a bit of "The Price Is Right" on channel 3 WTKR CBS (YOUR NewsChannel 3--they have this segment called "YOUR Three Cents," and that's where I got it from) and then both of us felt a bit sleepy. So, Daphne and I went into the bedroom and fell asleep. We didn't wake up until about 3:15 this afternoon, but didn't fully get out of bed until almost four this afternoon. So Daphne and I grabbed a late lunch (we just had sandwiches) and then drank some Coke, because mostly when I did Daphne's repair, we ran out of Bawls. But I'm getting a tin of Bawls Mints in the mail pretty soon, along with "The Linux Fish," "GNU," "LNX" (the last two are ThinkGeek's takes on those two- or three-letter oval destination stickers--a couple I've seen are "OV"--Ocean View, Norfolk, VA, and "OBX"--Outer Banks, NC) and Daphne's "<GEEK>" babydoll tshirt. It's being shipped now because I just got the shipment notification.
But then Kat called me asking me if I cleaned up the apartment yet. I stretched the truth a bit and told her that I was, but I really didn't start until five this afternoon. It is now 7:02 PM and she's supposed to get back on the Handi-Ride ( Hampton Roads Transit's Paratransit service) van back home and I'm expecting a call from my mother telling her that she's on her way home so I can go out on the South Wing entrance and wait for her because she's got a box that she cannot take off the van. Oh, and I'm finished cleaning and the apartment is very clean.
So, I didn't take any pictures today. Sorry for any disappointment I may have caused. But since today was really hot, there wasn't much to do besides be practically lazy. But the apartment is clean and I thank Daphne for the inspiration to tell me to clean the place. I even told Kat by calling her about an hour and a half ago and she said she'll believe it when she sees it. So, I am waiting impatiently.
But I may take one picture just to show off her new pants and her nicely brushed hair to make her look a "little sexy." It'll be in the same album as yesterday's.

Thanks Perry coming from you that's a great compliment.
I am still learning the make up thing,
I am happy with the way she came out.
The mouth is the hardest part for the skin I use.
The best part of making this new doll is I have been able to make alot of guys happy some girls as well.
Its great to see Guys like Casperghostboy And Graywoolf happy to spend time with one of my dolls.
How did the fix go Casperghostboy.

It went well. Daphne's holding up nicely. Now only if I could find that "Aquaseal" that Greywolf was talking about... But I see that superglue just does as well.
I've been spending full days with Daphne the past couple of days, not just mere hours, so that would tell anyone here how good for anything a Candy Eighteen is!

Glad to see the fix is holding up well. I didn't notice that there was a problem before she left here, but then again, I never really took her out of the box (I just flipped her over to see how good her butt looked. ) The difference between superglue and aquaseal is that the superglue dries hard, but aquaseal dries into a clear rubber. I discovered the product on this forum in a discussion about how to fix my Aria Giovanni doll way back when. Once I discovered what it was and how it dried, I tried it on my s18 and it was perfect. I later mentioned it to others about its worth for repairing urethane rubber foamie dolls. I usually have to go to a scuba and/or ski shop to find it. Basically any place that sells scuba wet suits or specializes in pool toys/supplies should have it. If you can't find it there, you can get it from the internet just by doing a search on the name. I bought my last tubes from a place on the web called trisports. I think its about $17 a tube (the price includes shipping) or either I paid $17 for two tubes. I can't remember for sure, but its worth every penny. It dries clear and can be cut, molded or smoothed after it sets. But use gloves when you handle it and avoid breathing the fumes as much as possible, as with any other chemicals like this.

Uch is right about ‘Aquaseal’ it holds perfectly and blends in almost without a trace. You know because it’s also clear and very runny I’ve got an idea buzzing around in my head of making some spare skin out of the stuff. I reckon that it could be blended with some face powder to get the right flesh colour.

Uch sent me some I wanted to try it my self and just go to bisy.
I think it will work, But I have found in the doll lab that sometime adding to glue's will take the sticky property's a way.

Thank you for the feedback. Cgb, after reading your reviews and looking at your pictures of Daphne I really can't wait to get my own. In preparation, I ordered a couple bra and panty sets so I can get her dressed up nice when she arrives.
