pictures uploadad as attachment seem to go all grainy

Quick question
Does anyone know the best way to upload pics?
The pics on my phone look way better,then when I upload them as attachments they seem to go all grainy

How do they look on your phone when you expand them? Do they get grainy? I ask cause it might just have to do with screen size or are you also viewing them on the forum with your phone too? One thing is the more a camera has to compensate for darkness the grainier the photo will be.

Viewing on my tablet
With expansion they start to get grainy but only when your zooming right in
When I view the forum on my phone they look a little better but still not as good as I see them on my phone.
It's really annoying
I take a photo,that looks great I think..upload it and it suddenly looks like it was taken on some ancient 2mp camera

The pic you see embedded into this thread is a scaled down preview. Please click/tap on the picture do download the full size image. Is that grainy too?

Yes, I mean the pics in your posts. When you look at the thread you can see all your uploaded pics one after the other. Those pics are downscaled previews. You can download the original pic by clicking on it. If you do so, are the pics still grainy?

Think it might just be my phone's resolution is a lot better than my tablet
