Phicen feet help

Post by stoney »

Hi all
is there a trick to removing the feet of a Phicen doll I am having trouble and don't want to pull too hard. I also worry if I replace the feet with boots will I be able to get them off again.
I did see a handy sticky thread for phicen tips with helpful advice for removing hands maybe someone could add advice on feet.
Thanks for any help.

Wait a minute, you can't take your feet off for everyone.

In the photo of both left ones the feet cannot be removed
With the right one you can remove the feet
Pull carefully

I’ve found that warming them helps. Usually just my hot breath but a hairdryer will do it for sure.

Hair dryer or some other method of safely heating the plastic to soften it up does the trick all the time. You are correct in being cautious. In the hands, be especially careful. If you pull the hands too hard without making them soft first, the metallic joint might come out of where it's connected and you'll have an extremely tough time putting it back due to how small it is and how much force you need to put the joint back in.
