I am really glad none of the sweeties gut a splinter in their bums climbing. That would really hurt as that tree has been dead a long time!!

Just after I took that last photo a big gust of wind happened and poor Tink went flying whether she wanted to or not! It took me ages to find her and stinging nettles didn’t help on my bare arms!

Tink has indicated that she can fly. That's exactly what happened, except she didn't say anything about direction.

Carly’s_guy, I think all the little ones would have liked a ‘big’ lady to come along for their trip but sadly there’s no way they could have made it that far without an awful lot of people seeing them!


Well done scooter! I was wondering if anyone would spot it! It’s actually what we call here a Common Blue Damselfly and when I first picked it up it was on the Yellow Flag Iris top right of the photo but as I focused it suddenly dropped to where Effy was and I had to take a quick photo which is why the shadow of my head is in frame! However, fortunately everything came into focus with that shot as it disappeared just after!

yeah Wolferich, I was quite wary after that as it was a breezy day!


I’m working on my daughter’s new conservatory tomorrow so it might be another day or so before I can continue the story - sorry!
