Does the newbie restriction makes us can't view some post?

Hello! My first post here, but not really a new member.

When I was navigating through the forum, I can't view some topics as it said "You're not authorized to view this particular topics". Is it because of the newbie restriction? Or Is it because those topics can only be seen by the moderators?

What I'm aware is, to view a post it is only divided by member or non-member, but maybe it is not the case.

Welcome to TDF

All members-only sections are open for newbies.

And sure there are a few staff only sections as we need to manage this forum, discuss issues and such.

To add, the Market is viewable for everyone, but only established members can post there (so you need your five posts approved to have newbie restrictions lifted).
