I have one of these, being very much a leg man. It got rapidly overshadowed by the WM174G . but she's noticably lighter... still nice to have around. LHP is forward but better angled than the WM172D, so she is a bit more versatile (her weakness is shorter MTV, her strength is anything standing). Given that she's a leg-doll , her breasts are also surprisingly impressive, gel filled. Not sure if I got one with more than the usual amount of gel , or if the promo photos are non-gel, but they seem bigger than I expected:

I think you might be right about the doll in the promo pics having non gel breasts. I have a doll with gel breasts (not WM). She is the second one of the same model and from what I can recall of the first non-gel one, the gel one’s breasts are bigger. I seem to recall the same thing with the WM 172D.

The cure for the mtv would be a longer torso, which I know is stating the obvious. But it would also make her look better balanced, at the expense of more weight though.

indeed.
ultimately these dolls have some sort of trilema around weight compromises, e.g.
"reasonable weight, long legs, curves - pick 2"
or
"reasonable weight, super long legs, mtv- pick 2"

With more than 1 you have a chance to cover different bases. As such 170d fills a niche for having a rather nice pair of legs that's easy to carry around

If i'd known the 174G was coming out , I'd have made different choices though. Figuring out the best pair is an interesting optimisation exercise.
