Thank you for your comment, this does give me a measure of insight.HervinBervin wrote:I keep asking myself what makes Starpery to produce some dolls much faster than other ones and how they select their production line... I always like to see new pictures of a delivered starpery, but even more so of the 171A.
I wonder when you ordered the 171A, and how long it took before production started.
Perhaps I can estimate a bit whether my 171A could be in production or not.
The Hedy head was not there when I ordered my doll, otherwise I probably would have chosen her too.
Now it's Sarah and Ying Yi.
My order was paid february 1st and photos arrived last weekend, so about 2,5 months production time (171A, Amy, TPE body).
Maybe just my vendor keeps ignoring me, because wrong eyes have been used and I have been trying to sort it out for the whole week and got no response, yet...

I ordered and paid for my order only 2 days earlier, the 30th January.
The biggest difference I think is a silicone body, and a second implanted hair. That makes her waiting time weeks longer.
My vendor responded well and quickly to all my (maybe sometimes stupid) questions, at most 36 hours between question and answer.
That had more to do with verification that starpery needed to be given, than with laziness or something from my vendor.
Before covid 19 broke out my vendor from starpery got an answer how far a doll was in production.
But these days it is so busy that this question cannot reasonably be answered.
Which means for the customer that it is best - if that works - to wait patiently for the 1st factory photos to be sent.
Fortunately this is not my 1st doll, which makes patience easier for me.
For all waiting for a starpery, good luck.
