Any incision does not have to be that big with TPE (has a stretch factor of about 10x)
Cracking the nut or bolt weld lets the joint be loosened
As you probably stated, the 165b 6YE body is a ball-joints stuff... I now don't like it at all.
The manufacturer 6YE have made the new body of my doll to be EVO, but it may be also be Ball-joint.
My Dolls :
Momoiro (Rose) 6YE 165b + Hermina Head
Kanmi (Sweet) XY 140b + Head WM98
Grats to hear you are getting a new body.
I think its great when company stand up for there products.
Great to hear and many people will be more inclined to purchase
from them knowing they can have a bit of peace of mind.
My Piper 150cm, the same joint on the upper left leg is starting to freeze up. I have noticed after the last month, the leg is getting stiffer and stiffer as time goes on, now, I am afraid to move it since it is so damn hard to move it and it makes a scary creaking sound that is getting worse! So, I am not going to move it anymore till I hear back from the manufacturer, I sent a video of it in to them through my vendor, hopefully this can get this resolved.
