YL doll Articulated Fingers Option

Hello Everyone!

We are very pleased that we can inform you of the new option. The Articulated Fingers Option is possible for all the dolls above 140 cm of height and it costs additional 80$. If posing fingers is important for you then it's the perfect thing for you!

It seems to be a very good option, hopefully the durability is improved and the broken fingers belongs to the past.

Ahh, timing. My first doll should be shipping from the factory yesterday/today. I would have gladly added for this option, it looks good!

I do second the question, is the finger durability improved with this?

Articulation is fairly recent, asking that question in a year or two will get a more accurate answer

Oh, absolutely agreed. I'd also trust buyer's opinions more than the manufacturer's.

At the same time, the manufacturer is the one who knows best how the current fingers & the new articulated ones are made. Were there tradeoffs in durability made for the movement? Or perhaps the joints are expected to break far less than the thin copper wires currently found, but the tradeoff is you can feel the skeleton through the TPE more?

It would be great if YL would post photos of the current hand skeleton vs. this new articulated model.

Articulation is definitely moving doll longevity in the right direction, but for now the fingers should always be handled carefully, wired or articulated

Bye Bye to broken finger wires, yes. However, care must still taken not to break finger bones. The phalangeal joints are small and no doubt fragile.

So so right, this will be a problem if the doll is used for any type of rough sex. Can you imagine a doll being rolled over onto TPE with small plastic/metal ( remains to be seen) fingers.
It's hard enough to take care of articulated in silicone. Unless the hands are poured with harder TPE.
Time will tell, YL makes beautiful dolls ( I have owned many ),,and I hope this works out for them.
