I have the silicon doll I don't mind marks or scrapes however it would be nice to make it look like natural skin. Do you have any recommendations on products or techniques I can use.
I can provide pictures, but I'm new to this form

Hi

I don't know how this happened, but it looks like a chip fell off. Is there a way to fill this hole with silicon it's not very big? The head is soft silicone.

Sil-poxy is often referred to as the best (and most expensive)
Permatex is another cheaper product
Then there's RTV sealants etc.

The difficulty is finding a Silicone product that works with your particular doll's face
Testing on the top of the neck is recommended
Any indication of damage can be cleaned up without causing an unsightly mess of the doll's appearance :)

I'm totally crap with makeup but applying a little powder to the repair (before it skins) that matches the face coloration would have a good chance
Test on workbench first though :)

Hi,

The disadvantage of silicone glue is that it is without any color, you can fill the hole with it but you will still see the color difference. I can recommend 2 options:

1. Contact your manufacturers. Some of them can send you a sample of fluid silicone with the skin color you need. Usually this package contains part A and B which you will mix together and then gently fill the hole

2. The second and also more difficult option is buy regular silicone like Ecoflex, as well as buying the colors for your needed skin. Without any experience it is a little bit difficult and it takes time even though there is no guarantee that this silicon manufacturer will work with this particular one, but it is the last option if the others don't work.

If you need more advice then don't hesitate to message us.

Hope it helps
