The Survey - Part 2

Post by Jerry »

Okay... I said I wouldn't go through the trouble of finding another CGI script to take a poll, looking through tons of pages to develop a method to see if you voted already... and all that stuff.

I lied.

The Doll Forum Poll

Geeze... it's 1:45 AM... and I gotta get up at 6:00... I must be nuts.

Thanks Jerry,

Can you put in a link to view the results again later without voting?

That way we can check the results without screwing the totals.

... This is GREAT,,, Jerry!!!!

What is interesting is the Group, below:

................................
What is your favorite doll type
Response____Number____Percent
No Answer____2__________15%
................................

Since this is a Doll Group, that is having their very own Doll Survey, I would guess that ALL participating members should have chosen at least ONE type of doll.

Hmmm??? I wonder who, we missed or over-looked here with these general Doll Groups??? ... Foamies? ...

I think they just forgot to click, or didn't have an opinion. I put in a "No Answer" clause in case someone was just clicking the "SUBMIT" button.

If I had another valid answer on top... it would cause a false high on the polls. Looks like I got the logging to work okay too. It isn't bulletproof... but better than the last script with NO way of checking.
