Thank You everyone who posted on my Birthday Thread!! Seventy-Two years young going on 15!!

Today we are celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary preparing for the 'storm' of the century. Fern Valley is just 30 miles from Tampa so fun, fun and more fun is expected.

If I disappear for a few days, you will know why!!

Pops here!! Status update. We just finished patrolling the yard. Crap that could be was picked up and thrown away. Put all those decorations and stuff like my tin rooster and chit into the garage. The Leni, all the furniture tied down, small stuff stored, my 27-year-old Christmas cactus is in the house. Tied down the pool fence. I found one loose joist on the pool cage, fixed it. Lots more. Moved my old car up to the garage door. Lived here for 27 years and this brick and block house has seen some stuff.

My new Pixie Rangers are wondering if there will even be a Fern Valley after the winds be blowing.

Noon and only my 2nd coffee!!

good luck and stay away from windows, emerald better hurry up she might get blown up her if she stays out.
shoot that only happens with tornados but she still better hurry.

Watched people filling sand bags on the news while I was paying my hazard insurance this morning.

CG your not in Kansas any more.

Checked with CinnamonLover last night. He is good to go. and if all fails he has a hurricane proof house he can take refuge in.

Thank You all for your safe wishes. My biggest fear is if the winds blow North to South (or South to North) my 2 big picture windows will be taking the brunt of it. Unfortunately, my collection has grown so large it blocks one of those windows. Please pray for my window!!

Sorry I haven’t been around for a while, hurt my back getting Reema back upstairs after the UK Doll Meet! At over 40kg (90lbs) she’s too much for me to handle really! ....especially as I’m 11 months older than you! :haha4:

Can you get to the curtain pole behind your girls and hang a blanket over it? If the glass blows in that would help absorb some of the energy!

I seem to remember a close shave in September 2017 for you! Let’s hope this is a close shave too!
