Make-up for Silicone Dolls - Fixing Powder
Please advise if you have any experience and tips and tricks on fixing make-up on Silicone Dolls.
I use powder make-up for everything on the doll skin, from moles to lips and eye maker to areola etc.
It can be amazing.
Some brands work better as do powders that are less oily.
However, it does not last long, especially in areas I would prefer to be permanent.
I don't want to use paints or marker pens as they are nowhere like as good at creating a realistic look.
I know artists that work with pastels use a fixer spray or hair spray to stop it smudging.
I can imagine you could spray your doll make-up and for it to be fixed or more permanent.
Or will it damage the doll, I fear it will make it tacky as most products contain silicone (aka Dimethicone).
Does anyone know if that works?

Re: Make-up for Silicone Dolls - Fixing Powder
I've not tried anything else yet, but I've gone crazy recently buying in Silicone and all the different additives to experiment with softness, bonding and making it liquid, as well as both the gel and skin type variants. I have pigments too.
It may take me a few months to find time to experiment before I get anywhere, but I have plans to prepare the surface of my existing doll Silicone to bond with flowable silicone I pigment and paint on for areas like the nipples.
