Sort by topic start date

Is this possible somehow? I'd really like to see the newest topics, but the default view shows a lot of year old threads with a recent post. The 'unanswered topics' is kinda what I'm looking for, but I'd like to see ones with replies as well.

In every forum at the bottom of the topic list is a sort option right beside the "New Topic" button. It offers to sort by "Creation time".
