Today Jayla returned to her body. I think Jayla is very slightly my favourite of the two. I really need to find her a descent sci-fi costume and a mohawk (my next mission - suggestions are welcome) but here she is for now

I entered Jayla into this months Cat B Photo Challenge. Her hobby is cooking

It had been a few months since I've done much with Jayla. I noticed that her TPE is already starting to get the dreaded self-separation. She's not very old so I wonder if she could be from a bad TPE blend, or maybe something with the purple affected the TPE. There's only one other doll of mine that's suffering the TPE self separation and she's over 2 years old and only a little bit and the problem's static (hasn't got worse since I first noticed it). Jayla seems in a worse condition (more patches of self-separation). Here is an example from her neck - there is similar in other places around her body (my red 170B does not have this problem):

Jayla is making a lovely bangers and mash - with peas

She's a very good cook - she learnt all about human cuisine whilst studying Humankind at University in her home planet.

Aww poor Jayla! I was glad to see an update on your purple girls, but that really sucks if the tpe isn't holding well

is there a way to mend that?

Thanks YungSynth. I'm not sure if there is a way to mend it. Maybe the hot spoon approach to smooth it off. I'll keep an eye on it. Another doll seemed to be going the way of TPE self-separation but it didn't go very far. Hopefully with Jayla it's just a few patches and that'll be it.

Cap'n Hunt,

I have finally found a tool that artificially enhances my ability to smooth TPE. We both know I suck at it, but this has given me really good results:
If you can not find it on your eBay, and you want one, I will ship it to you. It's 110 volts, so low or medium heat is all you'll need. I'm holding the adapter that comes with it that works for me. PM me if you need.
