Mattress for storage and use

Post by bnf »

What type of mattress is best to store and use full silicone, non-weight reduced dolls?

For usage it's the edges of course. I suspect that my own mattress will dimple soon and it's too expensive for just replace when it does.

I was thinking of getting an inexpensive foam core at Ikea. Would a spring core be better? Latex?

Thank you

Hey bnf,

I recommend hanging up the doll if possible, and most manufacturers recommend this method of storage. IKEA does some very affordable wardrobes to help with this too.

With regards to the mattress, I know what you mean.

I am not sure what size bed you have.
Although, a simple futon mattress could work well. They are quite affordable too, so denting won't be such a concern.
These can be rolled up and stored quite easily which is a bonus when swapped out with your main mattress.
