Athena with her new WM158 D body

Poor Athena, I have neglected her thread, with no new pics since April! Actually I have just found a folder of pics I took using a neat little Nikon Coolpix pocket camera last year then forgot all about. They obviously can't match the quality of my D3300 but they're not bad for a tiny pocket camera

Nikon made some great little cameras but few, if any, can come close to comparable to yours and the D7000 I've had forever. It does all I wanted. If Athena feels the least bit neglected you can always sent her to me! Love her in that 158D body.

I can't get used to how much different Athena looks from just a few
years ago. But, yes, nice new body!
And I have to add I've been shooting with Nikons most of my life, and can remember
owning one or two of their CoolPix cameras way back in the day. Picture quality,
as you say, was not as good as a DSLR, but they were reliable and always got you a
picture. A pity that smartphones killed the point-and-shoot market. There were some
pretty ingenious (and pretty silly) models back then.

Yeah, she was my third gal, initially just a head and the plan was for her to share Sophia's body but I soon realised she needed her own, later getting her the WM158D she still has

Athena has me bang to rights, thing is I've had to scale back birthday pressies for my gals as it was getting too damn expensive! Instead I've pampered my 3rd oldest gal this afternoon, smoothing a little rough spot she had on her face and fixing an irritating split on her hand. Amazing to think she's now 7 years old but her head was a firmer tpe blend which I'm sure has better longevity. Here's a few new pics from today...

Thanks! I'm inclined to agree, her head 56 remains one of my all time favourites
