Fanreal heads for sale on MyRobotDoll

I just noticed that MyRobotDoll is selling Fanreal doll heads for $799.

There is nothing in the description that says you need to own a Fanreal doll to buy a head. I know there are some people here who want a Maria or Della head separately without buying a full doll.

You can buy heads separately from almost all manufacturers.

The reason why we (vendors) often don't advertise them or advise doing so is because shipping costs are insane! Shipping costs can often double or triple the cost of heads. You're better off purchasing extra heads whilst purchasing your full-sized dolls as you won't have to pay additional shipping costs.

Interesting, I didn't know the shipping costs would be so high for something smaller like a head.

This is surprising. Given the fact that for instance I can order stuff from China by Aliexpress with no or low shipping fees, because of government subsidies and China being considered a “transitional” country by the Universal Postal Union (which means it enjoys a much lower rate for shipping costs to countries like the US).

How then is it possible that it can cost like $500 for a vendor to ship one head from China to EU or US?
