I have a Zelex 170cm Cup-C and a Fanreal 170cm Cup-G, and the connector that the Fanreal heads come with is M8, which is not valid for the Zelex bodies as they don't fit. The Zelex head has an M16 connector, and you can put the head on the Fanreal body, but it's loose.
That image is from a Dollpark video, which no longer has a YouTube channel but has all its videos on its website.
The connector of the Fanreal heads can be removed, but it is different from the Zelex and WMDOll connectors I have, and I don't think it's easy to find one that fits the Zelex doll heads.
I haven't been able to remove the connector from the Zelex heads, and I don't know if it can be done, to be honest.
I'm attaching some photos of one of my Zelex heads and Della's Fanreal head.

Thanks for the information and your photos. If the fanreal heads are m8 with a special connector and fanreal bodies are m16 then perhaps a m8 to m16 reducing screw would let you have a spare connector without worry of damaging your only copy and also connect your fanreal head to your zelex body.
