Thank you very much ShadowFun! Yes, the axe is very heavy. Victor helped me with his magic fishing line...

Thanks 4891d! It was precisely the idea of evoking the history of the Ingalls family in the 19th century.

Many thanks Gogodolls! Hadaly and my very old house helped me a lot to make this little video...

Re: Xycolo 163SB Hadaly
Bravo Victor! What a well done video and a fantastic series of very convincing photos. Hadaly really does look the part in her costume with your wonderful home providing such an excellent background.
And what a talented young lady your Hadaly is. Skilled at embroidery (my late grandmother and aunts used to do this), tending to the farm animals, and swinging that heavy medieval axe to chop firewood for the stove and fireplace. If you lived closer, I would ask her to help Celia chop up the firewood we will need to cut at the cabin this spring when we clean up all the blowdowns from last winter's windstorms.
Re: Xycolo 163SB Hadaly
Thank you so much Ariel_lover! You're right, my old house and Hadaly did the work, all I had to do was photograph Well, I think Celia must be better at chopping wood than Hadaly, who refused to hold the axe without it hanging from the end of a very strong line... But we'd love to come to your beautiful region to collect the dead wood of the winter ...around your lovely "Little House" in the forest...ariel_lover wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 6:09 pm Bravo Victor! PS - I'd like to take advantage of this message to make a small clarification : in the first photo, the person on the right is not Mary Ingalls but her younger sister, the author Laura Ingalls, whose books are at the origin of the "Little House" series :
In the last photo, on the other hand, it's Mary Ingalls :
