Hello realfigure, realfigure wrote:I am interested as well in a LDDoll, but XL size. Is there a guide to understand the colour match between the body and the head?
I have some experience with seamless body action figures, and have never seen a chart to match head and body skin tones. This would be handy, though...
Most 1/6 scale female heads I've seen are either "pale" or "normal" (light beige). This can be an issue with matching bodies, especially with the Phicen/TB League figures.
I like the LD Doll figures better, mainly due to the integrated hands and feet, but they also offer several skin tones, not just the two TB League offers. Also, I find the body sculpt more realistic than TB League, which seem a bit over the top to me.
I purchased my figures from a vendor on eBay. You can specify skin tone when ordering. On my last order, I actually emailed the vendor and they had me send a photo of the head I wanted to match.

Hello Anushka,Anushka wrote:The LD dolls sure are pricey, I wonder how they justify the high price relative to Phicen/TB League?
The higher price of LD Doll figures is likely because they offer the following features that Phicen/TB League does not:
1. Integrated and articulated hands/fingers
2. Seven (7) different skin tones (TB League only offers two)
3. Body makeup highlights/shading
I own 2 LD Doll figures, and they have a more realistic look than the TB League figures, in my opinion.
Hope this is helpful.

Re: LDDOLL
Thank you for the info. It is very helpful if the vendor can actually help matching the head with the body. I have one head, inspired to Olivia Wilde, that I cannot match with any body. I also would like to find the Bianca Beauchamp one, but it is difficult to find her. For sure this body would look nice with those headssirdave62 wrote:Hello realfigure, realfigure wrote:I am interested as well in a LDDoll, but XL size. Re: LDDOLL
The dolls are very pretty and detailed. They have a realistic vagina that can even be penetrated. The downsize of these dolls are the prize and the vulnerability / bad joint quality. Also the silicone is very soft but tears easily.
