Gonna have me a nice Valentines day. Tayu 158c has arrived. Now I just need to get half way across country to pick her up. Urgh the wait sucks.

weird, don't see my last post. Crazedcat what's your cleaning and care routine?

I want to ensure the painted skin doesn't erode for the 158, my 148 is pretty much done for. What do you do regarding that?

Just standard maintenance. Light cleaning (spray bottle with a bit of liquid soap and drying with soft cotton cloth) and powdering once or twice a month. I've had my 148 for about 16 months and zero issues with paint except for about a 1/2" mark on the back of one elbow where I rubbed her hard up against the wall by accident. Paint around the love holes also look like the day I got her. I think yours is older than mine so maybe they changed to a more durable silicone paint?

Starting with the 158C Tayu said they will be pigmenting the base silicone so that will help.

Craze, do you mind if I ask what kind of liquid soap you use? Im hearing dish soap, hand soap, laundry soap etc.... Im not sure what to use at this point. I bought the silicone 158C and trying to get all the equip that I need prior to her arrival. I bought the spray bottle and soft cloths but not sure what liquid soap to get. Some people are saying 1 part soap to 5 parts water. Some are saying alcohol free and yet others say alcohol is fine. Can you help with some info please? Thank You!

I’m new to this so take this with a grain of salt, but I used Johnson's Head-to-Toe Gentle Tear-Free Baby Wash & Shampoo.

After three months of enjoying my own 158C+, although mine has the Riley head. I concur, Tayu hit it out of the park with this tight desirable body.
